The waste water channel for the pulp line of the mill, which was renovated in 2017, was commissioned in the 1960s. Now there were fear that it would collapse. The new solution was Weholite.

The Water Monitoring Services developed by Uponor Infra enable real-time monitoring of water supply networks – deviations in the network can then be detected and located quickly. Pori, a coastal city in southern Finland, started monitoring an area on the periphery of its water supply network where leaks had caused problems over the years.

The wastewater from the new biopower plant will be collected in a Weholite tank designed by Uponor for the site.

The village of Båtstø in Hallangen, Norway, is stepping boldly into a new era of green self-sufficiency. More than two hundred of its homes have now been connected to the village’s very own brand new communal wastewater treatment plant.
